About the Anthropic Works List
The official Anthropic Works List contains approximately 400,000 books identified as part of the LibGen and PiLiMi datasets that Anthropic downloaded on August 10, 2022 to train its Claude AI models. If your book appears on this list and has a valid US Copyright Office registration, your claim has an estimated value of $1,500–$5,600 per work.
Note: We're currently displaying a 20-work sample. The full 400,000-work dataset will be searchable here shortly. If you don't find your work but believe it qualifies, contact us and we'll verify manually.
Common Questions
What if my work doesn't appear in the search results?
Our search currently covers a sample of the Anthropic Works List. The full dataset contains ~400,000 titles. If your work doesn't appear, it may still be on the complete list. Contact us with your ISBN/ASIN and we'll verify against the full dataset.
What does 'copyright registration' mean?
To qualify for the Anthropic settlement, your work must have an active copyright registration with the US Copyright Office (copyright.gov). This is separate from the automatic copyright protection all works receive. If you registered before 2022, you almost certainly qualify.
I'm a publisher, not the author — can I still get a cash offer?
Yes. If you hold the copyright to qualifying works (even if you're not the original author), you may be eligible. Estates and assignees are also eligible. Indicate your status as 'publisher' or 'estate' when reaching out to us.
What's the estimated value per work?
Based on the $1.5B settlement fund and estimated number of qualifying claims, each registered work is expected to receive between $1,500 and $5,600. We make you an immediate cash offer based on the estimated value of your qualifying works. You get paid within 5 business days of signing — no waiting for the settlement administrator.
